My cellphone got soaked in the ocean!!?
Ok, so, I was at the beach and I gave my cell to my mom for safekeeping. But, the waves got higher and my mom got soaked along with the cell. Now it has been days and it still doesnt work! Is there any hope? Suggestions are appreciated. Also, this was the beach and I dont know if saltwater vs. fresh water causes any difference.

Get this off eBay or service depots, etc Make an emergency trip to SearsRadioShackACEservice depotetc.br Cleandry as much as you can, using QTipsbr Dry the electronics components under a desk lamp on a paper towel for hours.br Use a blow dryer, set on warm. Blow dry the phone. Make sure your battery and sim card are out of the phone.br Put your phone in rice for hours w battery and sim outbr Reassemble the phonebr Put back togetherbr Only now its safe to put the battery back in.brbrYou can also leave the battery and sim out. Leave your phone out in the sun. Let it dry.
