My ipod froze...............?
I really need help, i am with a ipod nano gb, it just froze as I plugged it into my computer. I tried to turn it off, unplug it, everything, how can I fix it?
alright you need to restart it. It is very simple first you have to hold the middle button and the top button at the same time. Then when the apple pops up wait a few seconds and it should work again.

IDK WAT HAPPENED! i synced music onto it...it turned it on...i hit shuffle music....BAM! it froze...nothing. cant do anything on it. the screen is lit and it wont turn off...but other than that....nothing.
I have the same problem all the time. The ipod nanos nd generation decide to randomly freeze some glitch that Apple needs to fix. I sent my to Apple and they said nothing was wrong... so dont do that. All you have to do is reset the ipod by holding down the middle and top button until the ipod turns off and restarts... this will not erase your music or anything. If this does not work you have to let the ipods battery run down and then charge it and the problem is fixed.

try this... mine kept locking in disk mode and i couldnt do anything... i have the nano with the click wheel....brbrlay the ipod down flat on a table... turn the orange lock button off and on times.... stopping at unlock. press and hold the top of the wheel oclock and the middle center of the wheel. You may have to hold this down for seconds. Repeat if it doesnt work. Its like a reset but you wont lose your songs, etc....brbrGood luck....

at my girlfriends house, and I got it out as soon as possible, and it worked fine for a while... I even listened to it in the car on the drive home minute drive but when I got home, and I tried to cut it off, it wouldnt. My Cd player wont recognise the presence of any CD, can it be repaired?
It is about years old and the tape player and radio are still fine.
there are lots reasons that cause the cd player not see the cds. if there is no laser light, laser len dirty, bad disc, etc all of these can cause the player not see the CD. Here are some things you can trybr clean laser len, open CD lid, use dry soft cloth clean the len, make sure no dust. see this fix the problembr if above step did not fix it, clean your CD in up down motion using dry soft cloth, and hold you CD toward light, lable side face the light, if you can see through from other side , or see some holes, the CD is badbr if above two step did not fix it, here is one more thing to try this is dangerous , open CD lid, there is a door swith , which when you close the door, it pushs the switch close, you can use a pen or paper clip to manualy close the switch, once the switch close, you will see the laser pick up moves toward the center, then the len moves up down up and up down three times try to focus, during this time, you should see red lightwhich is laser light. If you dont see the light, you may have bad laser pick up then you need send to service. DO NOT GET TOO CLOSE TO THE LASER LIGHT, IT MIGHT BURN YOUR EYE. brgo luck

Hi, Im Trevor! And for my answer is, no. There are plenty of people who play game systems to much. I had that same problem for years when I was younger. I still play I have a PS and love it. I am a very spontaneous man, I am and I love to do things like travel, watch movies and hand with friends, but my life in high school was a joke with classmates treating me like crap, and I never got the best grades because, of the pressure everyday, so I used my games to calm me down. Since I graduated I played all the time, got fat and could feel that I was on the wrong path. I still play my games, especially when a new game comes out, and am very lazy and trying to get out of this stage. Well guess what I joined the YMCA at Pabst Farms in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. I drive school bus for a living and when I play my Grand Tourismo, or football, Ive been thinking that you know I could have these cars for real and competing in a video game for trophies doesnt really mean anything its just a picture of an award. Why dont I go race for real, or try out for a college football team, why play fake stuff when the real life is out there. But for your case, maybe hes stressed and doesnt know what to do right now. He should get off that XBox once in a while and spend time with his children, thats called responsibility. Explain to him that you understand that him playing xbox is a release for him to let his imagination go, but you tell him theres a time to play xbox and a time to live your life, and if he wants to remain with you he has to play less xbox and tell him it would be a shame for him to make you break up with him over a xbox. You see I just listened to a person today on Wisconsin Public Radio about negotiating and he said that if you want to negotiate with someone you have to understand there wants and understand why they are doing the tings they do. Tell him you will leave him if he doesnt start becoming responsible for him, you and the children, because once your gone, your gone then all he has is the xbox and when he gets sick of playing it and wakes up and realizes it was a waste of time and your gone, he will wish he never played that stupid game. Im sorry if I sound harsh or to the point, but I would not tolerate anyone yelling at me over a game, if they loved me they would come to a compromise and that is what you two need to do is come to a compromise. Hi, I know this isnt the answer you are looking for, but its only a game. I am years old, I play over hours per week, I have been playing since I was years old and I turned out fine. In my opinion, you are just making it harder for him to be around his friends, because they will be talking about all the great games they are playing and he just cant communicate back with them on it. I know the feeling, when i was all my friends had Playstation , and my parents couldnt get me a Playstation yet so I had to stay playing on PS. But then all my friends are talking about all these great games, and what mission theyre on and how hard it is at that part etc, and I was just there wishing to be on the same games they are. Trust me on this one, its just a game. your the mother after all, but Im just giving you an opinion of a guy that went through a similar scenario thats all. Hope it helps
